Aug 1st, 2015 BRTCC Supported entry at the Alberta Kennel Club Summer Classic in Calgary, Alberta, Canada

It was hot and tiring event, but our BRTs did it all!

BOB, WD Jack - Midnight Solo Zachariah, TDI, ESA, RN handled 1st time in the show ring by Mavis Horner
BOS Sasha- CH. Sibirski Medved Chernaya Koroleva, handled by Eric Burnett
Both BRTs received great comment by the judge and did very well in the ring. Congratulations to all involved! Well done!
Jack and Alex competed 3 days and earned 3 legs in Rally Obedience and a CKC RN title:
QS 94, 4th in Novice A class, Judge Pearl Fabbro
QS 82, Judge Michael Calhoun
QS 90, Judge Michael Calhoun
Wriley (Midnight Solo Wriley, CKC RN,RA,RE, RAE, ADC- SSS, CKC AGNS) with his owner Daniel Wing competed in 3 Agility trials:
They earned 2 legs and a title in CKC AGNS (Agility Novice Selected) and a 2nd leg in CKC AGNJS (Novice Jumpers Selected)
The team had 3 amazing runs and placed 1st in class all 3 times!
Congratulations to all teams and thank you for supporting this venue and promoting BRTs in Alberta!
It is wonderful to show off our gorgeous breed in 3 different venues at Alberta Kennel Club venue with great success! We thank Daniel, Eric and Kerri for entering and driving to Calgary. Sasha was showing right after she had a litter, looked great and did well!

BRTCC Specialty in Brome, June 13 2015

F1st BRTCC Specialty in Brome Quebec was a great success.
We congratulate all winners! All BRTs were nicely groomed and ring ready.
Huge thanks to friends, who helped us to show our BRTS : Andrew Houle, Mike Zagorski, Vasil Franczia. and Noreena Seery.
We thank for donation of great prizes to make this event very special: Irena Polonski, Tatiana and Doug Adams, Marina Tkach and Jean Brown.
Sharing food (lots of it!) and spending time with each other and the BRTS was wonderful.
Thank you Marina Tkach for new club's tent and your help with food and other incidentals during the Specialty and cluster shows. Tanya and Doug Adams, your organization
skills and hospitality made this event very memorable. Sorry if we forgot to mention someone who helped, you made a difference.

"CGN test" May 30, 2015

We thank Nelly Privis, canine trainer and the owner of GSD kennel Otradny for our CGN test.
Congratulations to 14 teams that passed: 7GSD teams, East European Shepherd team, 3 BRT teams, Bernice Mountain Dog team, Scottish Terrier team, Dogue de Bordeaux mix team.
Thank you very much for coming and supporting BRT club event!
We thank Jan, Nelly and Otradny kennel for a delicious Russian Style BBQ lunch and yummy cake made by Nelly.
Especial thank you to Irena with Viva and Marina with Abby for performing as a passing friendly dogs during the test for all teams.
Thank you Marina for being a great event secretary and taking care of all paperwork, and Igor for taking pictures.
The weather was challenging, after a few teams went through, severe down pour with a thunder came down. We had to break and wait for weather to clear up. Everyone got soaked: the shelter could not protect us from such a heavy rain! But we endured and had a wonderful day!

May 3rd, 2015. BRTCC Introduction to Tracking Workshop was a great success!

The workshop was sold out, we had 11 teams, our goal was 10!
We had a wonderful time and learned a lot.

Huge thank you to Bernie VanPelt, our guest speaker with for a very informative power point presentation and the practical part of the Workshop.
Bernie has over 35 years dog training experience, titled many dogs in various disciplines *President of London Schutzhund Club
*trained dogs for : police work ; IPO (Schutzhund) ; CKC Obedience & Tracking
*specializes in behavior modification

Thank you Jacqui and her GSD BB for doing a demo track for us to show us what the end result of training will look like.
A special Thanks to Ang, Rachel, Steve for hosting the event on their lovely property , for food and gorgeous and tasty BRTCC cake,
Brayden for making a signand helping out with serving and preparing the lunch, to Ryan for being there and helping out.

We had 9 BRTs attending, 2 Nova Scotia Duck Toll Retrievers, a Flat coated Retriever, A Yorkshire terrier, a German Shepherd dog.
We thank all participants and auditors for coming out , supporting our event and making it a memorable and a fun one.
We hope to see you all in our future events.
